Tomorrow it will be a busy day for Team corratec, making its Italian debut
Montecatini Terme, 28 February 2023 – After a very complicated month of February, due to the cancellation of two races, Team corratec is looking forward to a March full of appointments starting tomorrow.
In fact, the Trofeo Laigueglia will mark the Italian debut of the team, which, directed by Francesco Frassi, will hunt for a good result in a 1.Pro race in which 9 World Tour teams will participate.
The race in Liguria will be the debut with our colours for Valerio Conti, a debut postponed by the cancellation of the Tour of Antalya to which the Roman rider arrives after an intense training period.
Alongside the former Maglia Rosa of the 2019 Giro d’Italia will be a number of riders that we have seen in the recent O Gran Camiño such as Davide Baldaccini, Marco Murgano, Veljko Stojnic and Nicolas Tivani, as well as the returning Stefano Gandin and season debutant Jan Stöckli.
There are also season debuts at the Trofej Umag, a category 1.2 race that last year saw Team corratec take the podium with Dusan Rajovic.
Six riders will be directed by Fabiana Luperini with space for Attilio Viviani, after three top 10s at the Vuelta a San Juan, flanked by Nicolas Dalla Valle, Giulio Masotto, Samuele Zambelli as well as rookies Simone Olivero and Lorenzo Quartucci.
The Trofeo Laigueglia will be broadcast live on RaiSport from 14.45.
