The historical debut of Team corratec will be tomorrow with the kick off of the 57th Vuelta al Tachira en Bicicleta, a 2.2 stage race.

Eight stages scheduled with the start that will be given tomorrow from Tariba and the big ending on the 23rd of january with the classical circuit of San Cristobal where in 1977 Francesco Moser became World Champion.

Team corratec, directed by Francesco Frassi, has landed yesterday in Venezuela with a line up captained by Dusan Rajovic, the National Champion of Serbia who has already pro in the last two seasons.

Rajovic will try to do well in the sprint supported by two fast wheels like Stefano Gandin and Giulio Masotto.

In the most complicated stages, especially the sixth one with finish at Casa del Padre, the riders to follow are gonna be Davide Baldaccini and the columbian Oscar Telles. The line up is completed by the youngest rider on our roster, Josè Pitti.

The Sports Director Francesco Frassi has spoken about our goals for the race:

“This early debut is very importans as we can meet each other and build a solid base for the future. We want to thank the organizers of Vuelta al Tachira to accept our team and we hope to achieve a good result to show them that it was deserved. We are a very young team and so I expect a huge motivation by these riders and I think that, due to his previous experience, Rajovic can be a good leader.”
